This is an opportunity to join our Global Service team in contributing to key projects and initiatives, as well as responding to and managing technical escalations to ensure we deliver world class technical and product support. The role will suit someone with an understanding of Engineering systems who is solutions driven and an exceptional communicator. In this role, you’ll support the wider global and regional service teams in Peak Scientific to ensure they have the tools and resources needed. As a knowledgeable and highly technically competent member of the Service team, the Technical Specialist will be a key contributor to service function and act as a liaison between service and the training, engineering, and manufacturing functions. Duties will include: Liaising with regional service colleagues to ensure escalations and issues are resolved in a timely manner and best practices are followed globally Working closely with Design Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering teams to ensure product improvements are identified, implemented and communicated effectively Working in collaboration with the Global Technical Training team to manage effective delivery of training programs to internal and external customers Being responsible for creating and maintaining accurate Service and Technical Bulletins as per standard operating procedures Responding to technical queries and requests from regional service teams, ensuring timely resolution of support tickets The successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills and will always endeavour to confirm all information is shared, understood and intended outcomes are met.  You will also be responsible for completion of assigned activities such as Service Bulletins being released in a timely manner, and all follow up actions being completed on schedule. It is key that you have fault diagnosis experience and bring a methodical approach to resolving problems. Ideally, you’ll have the ability to read and understand pneumatic and electrical schematics and experience of working with pressure systems would be highly advantageous. Based at our Headquarters in Inchinnan, Renfrewshire – we’re looking for an Apprentice to join our Logistics team. What can we offer you? Our Apprentice Programme is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about starting a career in Logistics, in a fast-paced, dynamic working environment. You will be part of a Logistics team who deliver services across Peak Scientific’s global operations. This will be a 2-year apprenticeship where you will develop your skills through a combination of structured and on the job training, as well as working towards an industry recognised qualification in Supply Chain Management, receiving support and mentoring throughout the programme. Salary: £17,000 per annum in Year 1, rising to £19,000 per annum in Year 2 Working hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week  Successful candidates must be eligible for full SDS funding. Head of Logistics We are delighted to be recruiting for a Head of Logistics to lead a team based in our HQ Inchinnan, Glasgow. Reporting to the Global Supply Chain & Logistics Manager, this will be a key role in contributing to our continued growth as a leading innovator in the design, manufacture and support of high performance gas generators. You will be responsible for: Managing and Developing Logistical Geographical Hubs Leading the Global Strategy for Cost Effective Logistics, Optimised Transport Routes and Storage Levels End to End Reporting of Logistics Costs and Logistical KPI’s with YoY Improvements Managing the Global Supply Chain Data Compliance and Global Logistical Regulatory Compliance Maintaining Global Business Process Flows (Visio) Managing Consigned materials for OEM customers globally Ideally you will have +5 years experience in a similar role and qualifications and experience such as CILT, BIFA, CIPS, Inward Processing, Auditing and SAP proficiency are preferential. Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager, the primary focus for this role will be on closing 1st and 2nd line IT service tickets from colleagues primarily in Europe. As part of a company-wide IT team, you will be supporting and delivering global IT initiatives and projects. The successful candidate will work within the IT team to develop company-wide standards and processes that meet internal customer expectations whilst collaborating with IT colleagues in India and North America. Your duties will include: Fulfilling service requests and incidents in a timely manner, particularly those relating to the European team Working closely with end-users, business analysts, and the applications team to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure and software applications Providing 1st and 2nd line application and infrastructure support for core services in line with agreed service levels and working practices Adhering to pre-defined service management processes while addressing incidents Setting up of laptops, mobile phones, printers and other devices for new starters and colleagues Creating new application/AD/M365 user accounts You’ll be a motivated individual who enjoys working as part of a team. As a customer- driven person, you’ll naturally strive to find solutions for our Peak employees and communicate to them effectively.
