Since 1989 Shades of Elegance have been creating custom designed lampshades for individual clients, interior designers, country houses, small boutique hotels, reception areas and boardrooms throughout the UK. Lampshades are designed in consultation with the client working together to create unique and individual shades handmade in the UK. A wide choice of quality fabrics and trims are offered but a clients own fabric can be used if preferred. Both soft lined shades and contemporary hard shades can be custom designed to a client's specification. A renovation and recovering service is offered for old and antique lampshades. New frames can be made to replicate beyond repair lamsphades. Lampshades can be relined if the top cover is in good condition. Shades of Elegance give expert help in the design of custom made lampshades, handmade in the UK, allowing clients to own beautiful shades to enhance their interior decor.
